How to use it

1. Calculate daily use: 4 people x 150 L = 600 L/day
2. Calculate capacity: 600 L/day x 3 days = 1800 L
3. Convert to m3: 1800 L / 1000 = 1.8 m3
4. Add dead volume: +10% = 1980 L (commercial tank: 2000 L)

Common mistakes

• ⚠️ Not accounting for dead volume at bottom of tank
• ⚠️ Sizing without margin for visitors or exceptional consumption
• ⚠️ Not planning overflow and cleaning system for the tank

Calculate water tank capacity for 4 people with 150L/day consumption and 3 days reserve.
