How to use it

1. Calculate boxes: 35m² ÷ 2.1m²/box = 16.67 → 17 boxes
2. Apply 5% waste: 17 x 1.05 = 17.85 → 18 boxes
3. Calculate underlay: 35m² x 1.05 = 36.75m²
4. Estimate skirting: room perimeter less 1m for door

Common mistakes

• ⚠️ Not leaving perimeter expansion gap (10-15mm)
• ⚠️ Not installing vapor barrier on damp subfloors
• ⚠️ Not acclimating the material for 48h before installation

Worked example

Calculate boxes of laminate flooring for 35m² (2.1m² per box).

For {area} m²: {cajas_ud} boxes of laminate needed ({area_merma_m2} m² with waste). Underlay: {sotobanda_m2} m².
