How to use it

1. Calculate area of the forjado: 8m × 6m = 48m²
2. Calculate number of viguetas: 6m ÷ 0.70m + 1 = 9.57 → 10 viguetas
3. Calculate bovedillas: 48m² ÷ (0.70m × 0.25m) ≈ 274 units
4. Calculate volume capa of compressure: 48m² × 0.04m = 1.92m³ (approx)
5. Calculate cement to capa: 1.92m³ × 7 ≈ 14 bags

Worked example

Calculate materials for a joist slab floor 8m x 6m with 70cm joist spacing and 25cm depth.
