How to use it

1. Calculate excavation: 20m × 0.60m × 0.50m = 6m³
2. Calculate concrete volume: 6m³ (assuming accurate excavation)
3. Calculate cement: 6m³ × 7 = 42 bags
4. Calculate sand: 6m³ × 0.65 = 3.9m³
5. Calculate gravel: 6m³ × 0.90 = 5.4m³

Common mistakes

• ⚠️ Not excavating deep enough (below frost line)
• ⚠️ Not compacting the trench base before pouring concrete
• ⚠️ Using insufficient width for the soil bearing capacity

Worked example

Calculate for 20m long, 0.5m wide, 0.6m deep.

The foundation requires {vol_m3} m³ of concrete, {cement_sacos} bags of cement, {sand_m3} m³ of sand, {gravel_m3} m³ of gravel and {acero_kg} kg of steel.
