  3. sotobanda (Underlayment in m²) – Underlayment is usually sold by the square meter and should cover the entire floor plus a little extra for trimming. This value is the waste-adjusted area multiplied by 1.05 (a 5% underlayment waste factor). For 21.60 m², that yields 21.60 × 1.05 = 22.68 m².
