How to use it

1. Determine the número of workers that work in the project (oficiales, laborers, apprentices)
2. Establish the hours of shift daily (8 h estándar in construcción, convenio provincial can variar)
3. Calculate the días total of project según the plan of work or cronograma
4. Assign the cost hour current of each worker (not the price of sale): salary base + SS a cargo of the empresa + allowanc is + parte proportional of pagas extra
5. Multiply workers × hours/día × días × cost/hour to Obtain the cost total of labor
6. Break down per día, week and total to Compare with the budget of licitación

Common mistakes

• ⚠️ Use the salary base of the convenio without añadir the Seguridad Social a cargo of the empresa (~33% additional)
• ⚠️ Not including the pagas extras prorrateadas, vacaciones, festivos and posibl is hours extra
• ⚠️ Forget costs indirectos of personal: formación PRL, reconocimientos médicos, EPIs, tools personales
• ⚠️ Use the same cost/hour to a skilled worker of 1ª that to a peón: the categorías professionals tienen costs different
• ⚠️ Not verifying the convenio colectivo provincial of construcción: the salarios and plus is varían per provincia

Worked example

Calculate labor cost for 3 workers x 40h at 25 EUR/h.

Results: {total_horas} hours total, cost of {coste_dia_eur} €/día, cost of {coste_semana_eur} €/week, cost total of {coste_total_eur} €.
